What??? A $50 resistor??? Are you guys smoking crack??? We have to admit that this is uncharted territory, but suffice it to say several people have noted some impressive sonic improvements with resistors wound with copper magnet wire. We wind them on teflon tubing and wind them to your desired resistance at a given temperature. Positive results have been reported when used as cathode resistors (bypassed) and as speaker crossover resistors. We imagine they could also be tapped to form high quality L pads.
